John Mackin has joined Revere Capital Advisors as global head of marketing and business development (BD), HedgeWeek reports. He will be heading a four member global team, seeking to build relationships with investors that share a strategic interest in emerging managers.

Prior to joining the New York and London-based firm, Mackin was leading new BD efforts for smaller and emerging hedge fund strategies at Threadneedle Investments, Arklow Capital, Highland Capital, Pardus Capital and Protégé Partners. Apart from this, he was also associated with Lazard Asset Management.
