New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) has appointed Anthony Malloy as managing director of general account investment management. In his new role, Malloy will directly report to John Kim, chairman and CEO of NYLIM and CIO of New York Life Insurance. Malloy was previously head of the NYLIM fixed-income investors group, and will be succeeded by Thomas Girard. Malloy replaces Frank Ollari, who will retire from the firm on June 30.
