Warburg Pincus Plans $750M Mach Sale

Warburg Pincus is aiming to sell its mobile clearing and billing services company Mach.

Warburg Pincus is aiming to sell its mobile clearing and billing services company Mach, Reuters reports. The global buyout house may obtain a total of about $750 million from the sale of its Luxembourg-based business.

The private equity firm has selected Barclays Capital to review the options available for the business, which may draw interest from software giants, such as Oracle, SAP and Tibco Software. Warburg purchased Mach from private equity firms Advent International and Providence Equity Partners in 2005 for $820 million.
