UBS Global Asset Management (UBS GAM) has expanded its global and U.K. fixed-income teams, FundWeb reports. The firm has named Paul Lambert as head of currency, fixed income, and Kevin Zhao as senior portfolio manager. The duo will report to Rob Gambi, global head of fixed income. Lambert will be head portfolio manager on the firm’s Currency Alpha fund and other currency strategies. Previously, Lambert was associated with Polar Capital Partners and Zhao with Union Bancaire Privée. The firm has also appointed Vivek Acharya and Rachid Semaoune as portfolio managers.
