BAE Systems has received three bids for its Platform Solutions unit, Reuters reports. The U.K. defense, security and aerospace company has asked General Electric, Eaton and Warburg Pincus to submit their final offers for the unit. The original amount of the three bids was not disclosed, though the business is expected to fetch around $2 billion. Hampshire-based BAE Systems has appointed JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo to advise it on the sale.
