PIMCO has added three portfolio managers to its emerging market fixed income team. Francesc Balcells, who was previously working with Rogge Global Partners, has been named executive vice president and portfolio manager based in the firm’s Munich office. Isaac Meng joins from BNP Paribas as a senior vice president and portfolio manager in the Hong Kong office. Javier Romo, who joins from Citigroup as a vice president and portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office, will focus on relative value analysis, trading and portfolio strategy for Latin American sovereign credit and local interest rate products.
