Banco Comercial Portugues (BCP) has obtained three bids for its Polish division Bank Millennium, The Wall Street Journal reports. French bank BNP Paribas and Polish lenders PKO PKOB and Pekao Bape have offered to acquire the bank, adds Reuters. The Portuguese bank owns a 65.5 percent interest in Bank Millennium, worth €802.43 million. The move comes as BCP seeks to meet new requirements set by Bank of Portugal and the troika under Portugal’s €78 billion rescue plan.
