Mafrig Group has sold most of its international fast food logistics assets to a McDonald’s contractor, Financial Times reports. The sale has fetched the Brazilian meat processing group a total of $400 million. The sale of the unit from its subsidiary Keystone Foods to the U.S. Martin-Brower will allow Mafrig and Keystone Foods to focus on their core proteins business and leverage their global competency in beef, pork, poultry and fish processing. Mafrig acquired Keystone Foods last year by paying a total of $1.26 billion.
