Societe Generale Private Banking has named Paul Vaillancourt as CEO for its wealth management unit Canadian Wealth Management Group (CWM). Vaillancourt, presently CIO at the CWM, has taken up additional responsibilities, replacing former CEO Christophe Hodiquet.
Vaillancourt will help manage the development of CWM’s wealth management operations in the Canadian region. Vaillancourt joined the firm in 2010 from investment management firm Franklin Templeton Investments, where he was senior vice president.
