Qatar Investment Authority is seeking to invest in U.S. properties, Arabian Business reports. The Gulf state’s sovereign wealth fund will make the investments to diversify its investment portfolio.
The wealth fund has favored U.K. property so far. In August, the wealth fund’s unit Qatar Diar acquired London’s Olympic Village for £557 million with U.K. real estate investment firm Delancey.
