Russell is seeking approval to launch three fixed income exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Index Universe reports. The proposed funds are the Russell Total Return Fixed Income ETF, the Russell Core Fixed Income ETF and the Russell Emerging Markets Fixed Income ETF.
The bond funds will be able to invest in a range of fixed-income securities that will be issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government or related entities. The indexing firm has not disclosed the expense ratios for any of the proposed funds.
