The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has introduced a format used for transmitting information of listed firms to depositary participants directly, Mondovisione reports. HSBC Thailand is the first firm to apply the new service CA Swift starting from this month. SET is also seeking to develop information transmission service by electronically, or straight-through processing, to brokers by next year. SET, which initially provides Swift messages to custodian banks, is expecting three more banks to apply for the service this year.
