Northampton Township, Pennsylvania, has appointed Wells Fargo Advisors as investment consultant for its pension plans, Pensions & Investments reports. The consultant will advise uniformed and non-uniformed pension plans worth a total value of $22 million.
CoreStates Capital Advisors and Stifel Nicolaus were previously advising the pension fund on the two plans. Smith Barney, Janney Montgomery Scott and Philadelphia Trust were also considered for the mandate.
