BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial, has appointed Andrew Lazar and Timothy Shanahan as directors of its U.S. Core Rates practice, Web Wire reports. Lazar will handle money managers, insurance companies and hedge funds, while Shanahan will manage the central banks and sovereign wealth funds.
The duo will be based in New York and will work under Bill Kirby, managing director and head of U.S. Core Rate Sales. Lazar was previously working at Quadriserv, while Shanahan was serving at UBS Securities.
