Commodity ETPs are expected to continue growing even if growth in the sector stalls, according to Lyxor Asset Management’s head of ETF strategy Nizam Hamid, IFA Online reports. Assets in commodity ETPs surpassed fixed income and reached €42.8 billion in the week to August 19. Trading in commodity ETPs spurted more than 71% on the previous week. Hamid added that even if prices of commodities start to fall, the diversified trend is broader and more sustainable.
