Land Securities is seeking to acquire a controlling stake in the X-Leisure fund, Property Week reports. The fund, which was valued at £551 million in June, is jointly owned by Capital & Regional and Area Property Partners.
Capital & Regional owns an 11.9% stake in the Mall portfolio. The fund is managed by PY Gerbeau’s X-Leisure. Area Property acquired a 30% interest in the fund in March.
