Mexican stock-market operator Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) has rolled out a new financial messaging firm. The new affiliate InterGloval BMV will provide clients access to over 9,000 banks globally to electronically exchange information and conduct transactions.
The firm is accredited as a service bureau for Belgium-based Swift. The new venture, which is a part of BMV’s clearing and custody division, will allow clients to perform transactions ranging from a single payment to more complicated operations, such as issuing a letter of credit to the purchase and sale of securities and exchange.
