Italy-based lender UniCredit has appointed Bernd Broeker as a consultant for the foreign-exchange (FX) business in London, FX Week reports. Before joining the financial institution, Broeker served at Tokyo-headquartered lender Nomura Holdings as FX options head for three years.
Based in London, he will work along with deputy head of markets Guy Laffineur, who recently assumed the role of FX head on an interim basis. Laffineur replaced Nick Crawford, who is expected to join Commerzbank in January as global head of FX trading.
