Eaton Vance Management has unveiled the Eaton Vance Richard Bernstein All Asset Strategy Fund. The new mutual fund uses a macro-driven approach to invest in global markets. The portfolio will be managed by Richard Bernstein, CEO and CIO of the fund’s sub-adviser Richard Bernstein Advisors.
Though the fund follows a top-to-down style, such as the Eaton Vance Richard Bernstein Equity Strategy Fund, it has the flexibility to invest across equities, fixed income, commodities, currencies and cash. The fund intends to invest up to 75 percent of its net assets in equity securities, 25 percent to 90 percent in fixed-income securities, up to 25 percent in commodities, commodities-related investments and/or currencies, and up to 25 percent in cash and cash equivalents.
