Dahlman Rose, an investment bank focused on energy, transport and infrastructure, has appointed James Crandell managing director for its oilfield services research. He has also been named global head of oilfield services research. The analyst served as managing director at Barclays Capital following its acquisition of Lehman Brothers in 2009. Previously, Crandell served at Salomon Brothers before it was bought out by Lehman in 1999.
