Standard Bank is relocating the headquarters of its international operations from London to Johannesburg, Financial Times reports. The lender is seeking to boost its presence in markets such as Nigeria and Angola. The Johannesburg-based bank is looking to save about $75 million from its non-African business annually. The bank has set a target of dividing the amount of capital deployed outside Africa to $1.5 billion over time to free capital.
