BreatheAmerica has obtained a series B equity investment worth $22 million. The new financing was headed by venture capital firm Essex Woodlands and included participation from existing investors. The developer and manager of centers for patients suffering from allergies, sinusitis and asthma will use the proceeds for developing new centers around the U.S. Essex Woodlands is a healthcare focused venture capital and growth equity firm.
