Global Logistic Properties has offered a bid to purchase a Japanese portfolio of real estate, The Wall Street Journal reports. The portfolio, which consists of about 20 industrial properties used for distribution and warehousing, is expected to fetch $1.7 billion. LaSalle Investment Management is selling the properties. The real estate unit of private equity firm Blackstone Group is also interested in the portfolio.
