Brazil Head of Morgan Stanley Plans HF

Daniel Goldberg, the president of Morgan Stanley Brazil is stepping down from his post.

Daniel Goldberg, the president of Morgan Stanley Brazil is stepping down from his post, Reuters reports. He will set up a new hedge fund focusing on high-risk credit products, structured finance and private equity-like investments.

Investment firm Farallon Capital Management will be a minority partner in the new fund. Goldberg will be appointed non-executive chairman of Morgan Stanley Brazil from July 31, 2011.
