PTFS Sets Up Risk Profiling Tool

Personal Touch Financial Services is setting up its own risk profiling asset allocation tool for its independent financial adviser members.

Personal Touch Financial Services (PTFS) is setting up its own risk profiling asset allocation tool for its independent financial adviser (IFA) members, IFA Online reports. The company had been looking at the tools available in the market, but eventually decided to develop one itself after warnings from the Financial Services Authority about the existing options.

The firm has created an end-to-end process to demonstrate clarity on how the risk profile was determined. The psychometric questionnaire for the client-risk profiler has been provided by Oxford Risk, while fund research and selection has been done by Rayner Spencer Mills.
