ShopIgniter Secures $8M In VC Funding

Madrona Venture Group has joined Trinity Ventures for an $8 million investment in ShopIgniter.

Madrona Venture Group has joined Trinity Ventures for an $8 million investment in ShopIgniter. The social eCommerce software company intends to use the funding to expand sales, marketing and product development.

Larry Orr, general partner at Trinity, has been appointed to the ShopIgniter board. Orr will be joining existing outside directors Tom Alberg, a Amazon.com board member, and Dave Hersh, founding CEO of Jive Software.
