The Coca-Cola Foundation has given a total of $9.6 million to more than 40 global community organizations. The grants were awarded to the organizations during the third quarter.
Out of the total, $3.6 million will support water stewardship projects, $1.8 million will support educational initiatives and $1.3 million will support fitness and nutrition programs. The recipients include the United Nations Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, the China Youth Development Foundation, JA Worldwide and La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, among others.
