The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) and Poland’s Bank Ochrony Srodowiska (BOS) have signed an environmental loan program worth €30 million. The program is focused at municipalities and small- and medium-sized enterprises, private households and housing companies.
The proceeds from the fund will be used for projects promoting renewable energy solutions, energy-efficiency measures and wastewater treatment systems. NIB may also increase the loan program with a technical assistance grant fund to help identify and develop projects relevant to the HELCOM Baltic Sea Action Plan.
