Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and Etisalat-owned Mobily are planning to merge their towers business, Reuters reports. The new $2.5 billion merged group may also sell an undisclosed stake in the business.
The new merged entity would comprise 14,500 towers, adds The Economic Times. GTL Infrastructure, Ericsson and SREI Infrastructure have shown interest in buying a stake in the merged tower business.
