Douglas Flint, chairman of HSBC, says regulators should increase the list of banks determined to be systemically important in the U.K. to more than 80 beyond the current 20 to 30. Speaking to investors, Flint says it was it was necessary expand the number of banks requiring higher capital requirements to avoid competitive distortions building up in the banking sector.
