Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz is seeking to raise $900 million for a new fund, Business Insider reports. The two previous rounds of fundraising fetched it $300 million, and $650 with a $300 million annex. Following the transaction, the company will have $2.15 billion assets under management.
The company has contributed to 70 companies so far, including Zynga, Twitter, Foursquare, Airbnb and Instagram. The company, founded by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, is a stage-agnostic venture capital firm that provides seed, venture and growth-stage funding to the best new technology companies.
