Advent International and Bain Capital have come together to bid for Nordic Capital-owned electronic payments provider Point International (PI), Reuters reports. The deal may generate between €700 million and €950 million for PI.
The sale is being handled by J.P. Morgan and final bids are due to come by the end of this month. Payment-processing firms Tsys and First Data, controlled by U.S. buyout firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, are also eying PI.
