New York State Teachers’ Retirement System (NYSTRS) is seeking to appoint a new custodian, Pensions & Investments reports. The retirement system is planning to appoint a company to offer custody services for its publicly traded assets. The contract term, which starts from July 1 for a period of three years, will come with an option to extend for up to two successive three-year terms. The contract of State Street Bank & Trust expires on October 1.
