David Stevenson, co-founder of Ignis Asset Management joint venture Cartesian Capital Partners, is quitting the firm to pursue other opportunities, Financial Times reports. He set up the equity investment boutique with Andrew Kelly, Jeremy Hall and Susan Rafferty, as a 50/50 joint venture with Ignis in 2005, adds Citywire.
Stevenson’s £57.1 million Cartesian U.K. Opportunities fund will now be managed by Hall, who will be supported by Kelly. He will leave Cartesian on December 31. Previously, Stevenson worked with Edinburgh-based asset manager SVM Asset Management.
