Assets of the Government Pension Fund of Norway totaled $23.8 billion in June, off 0.3 percent over the end of last year, The Wall Street Journal reports. The bond portfolio rose 22 percent to $9.49 billion but shares and other equity dropped by $1.59 billion between January and June.
Shares and other equity amounted to 57 percent of the fund’s value, down from 63 percent six months earlier. The bond portfolio grew 22 percent over the same period.
