Pizza chain, Giordano’s Enterprises, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 16, 2011, The Wall Street Journal reports. The company has about $45 million debt owed to lender, Fifth Third Bank. Giordano’s will use a part of its $36 million bankruptcy loan to continue its operations and pay its vendors and its employees during the bankruptcy case. Affiliates of the Chicago-based company, Americana Foods and Randolph Partners, have also sought bankruptcy protection.
