Investment bank, Cantor Fitzgerald, has appointed Peter Cecchini as managing director and head of institutional equity derivatives sales, Bloomberg reports. Cecchini will be the chief strategist and work with Cantor’s traders to recommend options trades on stocks, indexes and exchange-traded funds.
He will join Cantor from the firm’s publicly traded arm, BGC Partners. Cantor has also appointed BGC’s Jamie Halegoua as a senior equity derivatives strategist and Elizabeth Kent as a salesperson. Halegoua and Kent will both report to Cecchini.
