Shumway Capital Partners’ former veteran, Paul Hudson, has rolled out his maiden hedge fund manager, HFMWeek reports. The fund, Glade Brook Capital, will receive some funding from Chris Shumway, who founded Shumway Capital that is currently in the process of liquidating.
Former Shumway controller, Paul Barron, has been appointed as CFO of Glade Brook. Hudson is the first executive from the one-time $8 billion firm to launch a new management firm.
