Evercore Partners is seeking to expand in Europe by increasing the number of its staff, Financial News reports. The U.S. advisory boutique and asset manager’s growth areas include equity research, which needs 10-15 extra staff to cover financial institutions and technology, media and telecoms. The investment banking unit increased its number of employees to 330 last year from 247 in 2009. Last year’s acquisition of G5 Advisors in Brazil is also a part of the firm’s business globalization.
