Private equity firms, including Carlyle Group, Blackstone Group and Bain Capital, are seeking to acquire alarm company, Securitas Direct, Reuters reports. About seven buyout firms may offer their bids to private equity firm, EQT, which took Securitas Direct private in 2008. Firms, including BC Partners, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Hellman & Friedman and Nordic Capital, are expected to be interested in the sale of the $3 billion-plus company. Stanley Black & Decker may also bid for the company.
