Private equity firm, Monomoy Capital Partners, has raised $400 million of limited partner commitments for its second restructuring fund, Monomoy Capital Partners II. The firm had targeted to raise $350 million in fundraising. Public and corporate pension funds contributed about 34% of the total capital raised for Monomoy’s Fund II, while 33% came from funds of funds. Hussein Khalifa and Jennifer Rinehart of MVision Private Equity Advisors acted as the global placement agents for Monomoy.
