The founder of MAM Funds subsidiary, Midas Capital, is retiring from the firm in September, Investment Week reports. Simon Edwards manages the £311 million CF Midas Balanced Growth fund with Simon Callow, who will now take charge of the fund.
Edwards, who established Liverpool-based Midas Capital Partners in 2002, was previously managing the investment management of the £3 billion Merseyside Pension Fund. Formerly, he has also worked for Credit Suisse First Boston as a director.
