Northern Trust has been appointed by the Northumberland County Council Pension Fund, Professional Pensions reports. The firm will provide transition management services to the £763 million pension fund.
Northern Trust already provides the pension fund custody and related services, including securities lending and commission recapture. It was also appointed by Lancashire County Council and the Lothian Pension Fund earlier this year.
