San Francisco-based Zynga is seeking to raise about $250 million in new funding, The Wall Street Journal reports. The deal may value the company between $7-9 billion. Zynga has already raised $360 million from a range of venture capital and other investment firms.
The company is in talks with at least one bank about raising financing as well as mutual funds and others. Zynga is a social-gaming company, which sells virtual goods in Facebook games.
