Morgan Stanley has appointed Hans-Guenter Redeker as global head of foreign-exchange strategy, The Wall Street Journal reports. Ian Stannard has been named head of European foreign-exchange strategy at the bank.
The pair is joining from BNP Paribas, where Redeker headed currency strategy and Stannard was a senior currency strategist. They had joined the French bank in November 2000 from Chase Manhattan.
