BNY Mellon has unveiled its first portfolio through its Insight Investments boutique, which it acquired in 2009, Financial Times reports. The BNY Mellon Absolute Return Equity fund invests in the U.K. and European positions and uses a strategy similar to the Absolute Insight U.K. Equity Market Neutral but with higher target return and flexibility on hedging. The portfolio will be managed by head of specialist equities of Insight, Andy Cawker, alongside portfolio managers, Richard Howarth, Iain Brown and David Headland. Insight has been running a paper portfolio of the fund, which launched into the wider market on January 31, for almost a year, adds Citywire.
