JPMorgan Chase has appointed Cassio Calil as head of its asset management division in Brazil, Reuters reports. In his new role, Calil will be in charge of speeding up growth in the unit’s institutional, mutual fund and private banking businesses in Brazil. Calil will work under senior country officer Claudio Berquo and Jamie Broderick, JPMorgan Asset Management’s head of Europe and Latin America. Calil, who joined JPMorgan in 2004, was previously a managing director of investment banking.
