Venture capital firm, Lux Capital, has appointed R Woolsey and Richard Foster as venture partners. Woolsey will help identify novel breakthroughs and new investment opportunities in energy, while Foster will seek new technologies and business models for life sciences and healthcare IT investment. Woolsey is Chairman of Woolsey Partners and currently also chairs the strategic advisory group of Paladin Capital Group. Foster is the managing partner of Investment and Advisory Services and has previously also worked with McKinsey & Company.
