SEC Boosts IM Division

The Securities and Exchange Commission has expanded its division of investment management with the appointment of two senior executives.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has expanded its division of investment management with the appointment of two senior executives. The commission has named Robert Plaze as deputy director of the division and Diane Blizzard as its managing executive.

Blizzard, in the newly created position, will manage all of the administrative, resource allocation and strategic planning initiatives in the division. Most recently, Plaze was associate director for regulatory policy of the division, while Blizzard was a senior adviser to the director.
