Stichting Alcatel-Lucent Pensioenfonds will make a €25 million investment in French asset manager, TOBAM, Pensions & Investments reports. The technology company’s pension scheme has chosen to invest the money in the TOBAM Anti-Benchmark World Equity Fund.
The funding for the new mandate will come from reducing an enhanced-indexing world equity portfolio managed by BlackRock to €25 million. TOBAM’s anti-benchmark strategy is designed to re-weigh securities within an existing index in a way that it achieves the most diversified portfolio possible and reduces volatility, adds Global Pensions.
